PAST MEETINGS: Swans v Aston Villa

18th March

Swansea 1-0 Aston Villa
Barclays Premier League - Friday, 26 December 2014
Gylfi Sigurdsson's free-kick gave Swansea a hard-earned win over Aston Villa at a soaking Liberty Stadium.
Sigurdsson's dipping effort from the edge of the area came in a first half dominated by the hosts.
Villa were the more dominant after the break as the torrential rain which blighted the first half eased.
Andreas Weimann was wasteful, but the best chance - an injury-time header from Christian Benteke - was saved superbly by Lukasz Fabianski.

SWANS: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Shelvey (Carroll, 60), Ki Sung-Yueng, Dyer, Sigurdsson (Emnes, 78), Montero (Routledge, 22), Bony.

ASTON VILLA: Guzan, Hutton, Okore, Vlaar, Clark, Cissokho (Weimann, 45), Delphi, Sanchez, Cleverley (Grealish, 77), Agbonlahor, Benteke.

Barclays Premier League - Tuesday, 1 January 2013
Danny Graham scored a stoppage-time equaliser to deny Aston Villa victory at the Liberty Stadium.
Christian Benteke appeared to have given Villa victory with an 85th-minute penalty after Nathan Dyer had fouled Andreas Weimann.
