The Swans were pegged back twice as they shared the spoils with Leeds in a thriller at the Liberty.
Oli McBurnie scored both goals against his home-city club, but it wasn't enough to ensure victory in a breathless encounter in SA1.
The striker poked home the opener after 24 minutes, only for Kemar Roofe to level before the break.
Graham Potter's side were full of energy and creativity, and they were back ahead in the 51st minute when McBurnie nodded in from Martin Olsson's cross.
But former Swan Pablo Hernandez ensured a point for the visitors as he guided home Patrick Bamford's 79th-minute cross.

Brendan Rodgers’ Swans stepped up their promotion charge as they dismantled Leeds in clinical fashion.
Scott Sinclair put the hosts in front after latching on to Luke Moore’s backheel in the 13th minute.
The winger claimed his second from the penalty spot after Nathan Dyer, who was making his 100th Swansea appearance, was brought down by Max Gradel.
Moore then wrapped up the point 18 minutes from the end after a sweet pass from Stephen Dobbie.

League One – December 29, 2007
The Swans came out on top in a classic encounter between two sides battling for League One promotion.
Roberto Martinez’s men were flying high at the top of the table and went ahead early on thanks to Andy Robinson’s free-kick, but Dennis Wise’s Leeds levelled thanks to a fine Jermaine Beckford goal.
Garry Monk then put the Swans back ahead with a header, before Ferrie Bodde was dismissed for a rash tackle on Jonny Howson.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, the 10 men extended their lead just before half-time through Jason Scotland.
Although Alan Thompson’s free-kick reduced the arrears at the start of the second period, the Swans held on for a thrilling victory.

First Division – August 29, 1981
Even those Swans fans who are too young to have been there will not need to be told too much about this memorable contest.
Leeds were the opponents in the Swans’ first ever top-flight game, and they were ripped apart in the August sunshine at Vetch Field.
Jeremy Charles put the hosts in front early on, only for Derek Parlane to make it 1-1 at the break.
But the Swans took the game away from the visitors as Bob Latchford scored a nine-minute hat-trick right at the start of the second half.
And Alan Curtis, who had rejoined the Swans after an unhappy spell at Leeds, rounded off the win with a brilliant individual goal 20 minutes from the end.
