Swansea City Under-18s are back in action as they travel to London to take on Queens Park Rangers in the Professional Development League on Saturday morning (10.30am).

The Swans will look to continue their unbeaten start to 2024 after their 4-2 victory over Ipswich Town last time out thanks to a Thomas Woodward hat-trick and a Josh Pescatore strike.

However, the age-grade side will be hoping to better their away form having lost their last three trips on the road since November.

The hosts - who have recorded three wins in the league this season - currently sit bottom of the PDL South but victory on Saturday afternoon would see them jump four places in a tight league table.

Coach Jarred Harvey: "It's the first away game of the year for the boys, and for myself as coach.

"We had a great start to 2024 with a win and, as coaches, we were really pleased with the performance and the quality of goals.

"Preparation is key, and we'll prepare like any other game. We have amazing staff who identify areas of strength and weakness to work on."

Swansea City Under-18s produced an outstanding second-half comeback to claim their first win of 2023 when Queens Park Rangers last hosted them in the Professional Development League.

Despite goals from Geoff Bony and Iwan Morgan, the Swans had headed into the interval 4-2 down after a brace from Kieran Petrie plus goals from Sam Sackey and Youssef Yahyaoui for the R's.

But the visitors responded in magnificent fashion. Striker Morgan netted twice to complete his hat-trick, with Yori Griffith also on the scoresheet in a nine-goal thriller in west London.
