Swansea City Ladies are in FAW Women’s Cup action this afternoon as Aberdare Town pay a visit to Llandarcy for their second-round tie (2pm).

The Swans have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season, and reached this stage of the competition with an emphatic 13-0 win over Dafen.

However, despite the big win in the first round, manager Ian Owen insists feet remain firmly on the floor and the hosts will be taking nothing for granted.

“Our intentions are clear and remain the same as they are in any other game,” he said.

“The squad are determined to do well this season so we will approach the game with the same attitude as any other match.

“We don’t really know too much about Aberdare so hopefully we can continue our good form and see what happens.”

Sunday’s opponents Aberdare qualified for the second round after defeating Tredegar 2-1 on their travels.
