Preview | Swansea City U18s v Leicester City U18s

20th September
Anthony Wright 16x9

Swansea City Under-18s will be aiming to end a run of two straight defeats when they welcome Leicester City to Landore on Saturday (11am).

The young Swans are looking to get back to winning ways in Premier League South, following their 3-1 loss away at Reading last week.

Two second-half goals in the space of a minute in the second half at Hogwood Park put the game beyond Anthony Wright’s men, who did reply late thanks to Josh Thomas’ fourth strike of the season.

The under-18s will be hoping for better fortunes on home soil, having enjoyed an impressive 4-2 victory over Southampton last month.

Meanwhile, Leicester descend on South Wales looking to build on their 1-0 win over reigning Premier League South champions Arsenal last weekend.

The young Foxes are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Swansea, winning on three occasions.
