Swansea City Under-21 face Birmingham City in the final Professional Development League fixture of the season with a play-off place on the line at the Swansea.com Stadium on Friday afternoon (2pm).

Tickets for this fixture are free, and can be claimed HERE.

Before kick-off, Josh Thomas and Filip Lissah will be in the Swans Club Shop (1pm until 1.30pm) to sign autographs and meet supporters.

A win would secure a play-off spot in the southern section for the Swans, following Queens Park Rangers' loss against Barnsley on Tuesday afternoon.

Last time out, Swansea snatched a late win against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough thanks to Maliq Cadogan's 88th-minute finish.

The Blues have already claimed a play-off place in the north table, behind Sheffield United.

Birmingham are unbeaten in their last seven games, winning their last two against QPR and AFC Bournemouth respectively.

Coach Anthony Wright: "It's a big game, and it's always a good feeling to end the league campaign with a game at the Swansea.com Stadium.

"It'll be exactly a year on from playing Birmingham at the stadium last year, but following QPR's result we've got something to play for, it's in our hands now."

Swansea City 10 Birmingham City 1

It was a perfect 10 for Swansea City Under-21s as they rounded off their season in superb style with a magnificent all-round team performance that dismantled Birmingham City on the Blues last visit to the Swansea.com Stadium.

The in-form Swans had led 5-0 inside half an hour against the shell-shocked visitors, Josh Thomas hitting a hat-trick, with Joe Thomas and Liam Smith also on the scoresheet.

Josh Thomas added his fourth, with Cameron Congreve, Tivonge Rushesha, Corey Hurford and captain Sam Leverett also finding the net after the break.

Rico Patterson’s finish for Birmingham was of no consolation to the visitors, who also ended with 10 men after captain Rico Browne was sent off deep into the second half.

The result meant the Swans had won nine of their final dozen Professional Development League fixtures, coming up just one point short of the play-offs.

In addition, they ended the season as the PDL’s top scorers having netted a remarkable 80 goals in their 28 games.
