Swansea City are in action for the final time this season and will look to round off the 2025-26 campaign with three points against Charlton Athletic at the Swansea.com Stadium (12.30pm).

The Swans had to settle for a point last time out at Carrow Road as Zan Vipotnik's penalty was cancelled out by Kenny McLean's spot kick in the closing stages, and they will want to round off a season where they have shown excellent home form with another victory in SA1.

Charlton, meanwhile, avoided a final-day relegation scrap last weekend as they saw off promotion-chasing Hull City 2-1 to secure survival with a game to spare.

Team news

Zeidane Inoussa

Head coach Vitor Matos confirmed no new injury concerns ahead of this afternoon's final fixture of the season.

Zeidane Inoussa has been back in full training, while Ethan Galbraith is still sidelined.

Matos also provided an update on Sam Parker's hamstring injury, with the youngster set to return to fitness in plenty of time ahead of pre-season.

Pre-match views

Vitor Matos: “I am only worried about the performance. It’s the last game of the season, we are in front of our fans in our stadium.

“It’s an important game in terms of what we can offer and the performance we want to put in.

“We will see where we end up after the game, but the most important thing for us is trying to win and to do that the performance needs to be there.

“We want to sign the season off in the right way, we want the mentality to stay the same and to continue to use our stadium as one of the places where we love to be.

“This season since I came here we have had that, and it’s clear we want to give everyone a good last day and so we need to be full on.

“Charlton is a very competitive team, they are aggressive, they mark man to man, they are quite direct and use long balls and long throws.

“They have a specific way of playing, and we have to be ready to compete and ready to put in a performance to make everyone proud.”

Nathan Jones: "If you look at where we are, and where we were two years ago, I am extremely proud of that journey, that culminated in beating Hull City on Saturday. They are a fantastic football team, that have promotion aspirations, but we have proven that we can compete with anyone at this level.

"What we need to do now is add a bit more consistency and a bit more quality and then we can start making waves ourselves like we did for the first 15 games.

"We now have to evolve and get better, I want us to have stuff to play for in the last two games next season, but I don’t want it to be what we had to play for this week."

Meet the officials

Will Finnie

Will Finnie will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Charlton Athletic at the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon (12.30pm).

It will be the third time the Luton-born official has taken charge of a Swans fixture, having had the whistle for a 2-2 draw against Portsmouth last season and a 1-0 win over Bristol City this term.

Finnie started refereeing at professional level during the 2018-19 season and progressed to EFL competitions the following campaign.

He first took charge of a Championship game when he had the whistle for Millwall’s 3-1 win over Cardiff City in April 2024.

This season he has refereed 30 games in all competitions, handing out 118 yellow cards and one red.

He will be assisted by Alistair Nelson and Nick Hopton, while Ross Martin will be the fourth official.

Remember the last time?

Swansea City 1 Charlton Athletic 0

Yan Dhanda fired the Swans back into the play-off places with a first-half winner against Charlton when the Addicks last visited the then Liberty Stadium.

The Swans dominated the opening 45 minutes but wasted a glut of chances that would have put them home and dry before the break.

But in the end, it was Dhanda’s 14th minute strike which earned the Swans three precious points to push them up into sixth in the Championship.
