Swansea City are back on home turf for the final fixture before the international break as they get set to face league leaders Coventry City at the Swansea.com Stadium (5.15pm).

The Swans will hope to extend their fine run of form in SA1, having been unbeaten in 10 consecutive Championship fixtures and recording a 2-0 victory over Stoke City last time out in south Wales.

Frank Lampard's Coventry City have enjoyed an outstanding season, and hold a handy lead at the top of the table as they eye a return to the top-flight after a 25-year absence.

Team news

Adam Idah Charlton

Swansea City have Adam Idah available to face Coventry City this afternoon, but Josh Key is a doubt for the Championship clash with the Sky Blues.

Idah has returned to training following the hamstring injury he suffered in December, and he is in contention to play a part as the league leaders head to SA1.

However, Key is suffering with a hip problem he picked up in the defeat at Wrexham, and head coach Vitor Matos will make a late decision on whether the full-back is able to be involved.

The visitors are without topscorer Haji Wright, but Bobby Thomas is available after a calf problem.

Vitor Matos: “It is clear we are facing a team with a lot of strengths and qualities.

“They have speed on the wings, good players in attack, they are a very strong team.

“They are well-organised, with and without the ball, and they are a team that deserve to be in the position they are.

“They have had big momentum in different parts of the season, and when you have that momentum you are very hard to play against.

“So, we need to have a good performance and we need to be the very best version of ourselves.

“This is what we will try, and we need show a lot of character and personality in how we play.

“We want to impose ourselves, and we will need the mentality to deal with tough moments and come through them without losing our focus and concentration.

“Then it’s about trying to hurt them when we get the chance.”

Frank Lampard: “Every result and every performance is crucial now.

“I don’t hang on the words of responses and reactions.

"Every season is full of good, bad and somewhere in-between [moments].

“It’s important the players stay very level-headed. I know they’re resilient because they’ve shown it through the season.

“You’re going to take a few hits in this league. We’ve been the team at the top of that so far.

“We need to take confidence from that and take it forward.”
