Swansea City will be looking to make it 12 games unbeaten on home turf when they host Leicester City this afternoon at the Swansea.com Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Alan Sheehan's side claimed three points on the road in midweek, as Liam Cullen's strike at Ewood Park completed the comeback for the visitors.

The Foxes have drawn their last four consecutive league games, and have not picked up a win away from home so far this campaign.

Swansea City head coach Alan Sheehan will assess a few players nursing bumps and bruises before making a final decision on his selection to face Leicester City on Saturday.

After a home draw against Millwall and a win at Blackburn at Ewood Park midweek, the Swans round off a three-game week on Saturday as they host Leicester City at the Swansea.com Stadium in their final fixture before the international break.

The Swans boss admitted the demands of the week, on the back the long midweek trip to Lancashire on Tuesday night, may mean there are changes to be made to face the Foxes on the weekend.

Pre-match views

Alan Sheehan

Alan Sheehan: “They were a team that were in the Premier League last year and have players that have got a lot of Premier League experience.

“Obviously theyhave come down , I have watched a bit of them and they're another team that could probably have more points and are slightly simmering in areas.

“But a team that you have to be very organised against because they've got a lot of quality all over the pitch. I'd be surprised if they're not up there.”

Marti Cifuentes: "I think they've got a solid foundation already from last season in a club that I think usually have a very clear identity in how they want to play.

"They are usually a team that wants to use the possession to attack, they are really strong on transitions.

"A team that is difficult to beat because of the way they play, but as well they have some players that have experience at this level and that have started well."

Swansea City pushed Championship leaders Leicester City all the way but suffered defeat at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Swans had taken the lead through a deflected strike from skipper Matt Grimes in the 20th minute as they defended with discipline and attacked with real energy against the promotion favourites.

They were pegged back just before the interval as Jannik Vestergaard fortuitously turned the ball in after a ricochet fell into his path, before Abdul Fatawu steered Leicester ahead just after the hour.

Kelechi Iheanacho then ensured an 11th win in 12 league games for the visitors with his effort four minutes from time.
