REPORT: Cardiff U18s 2 Swans U18s 3

14th February

The Under-18s produced a stirring late comeback to seal a crucial 3-2 victory over Cardiff.
After a goalless first half, Liam Cullen put the Swans ahead when he rifled a left-foot shot into the top corner.
However, Cardiff hit back with two goals in quick succession to turn the game on its head before Cullen then drew the visitors level with a cool finish from eight yards out after the home side failed to clear a free kick into the box.
And the Swans had the final say in added time as Dylan Thomas set up Kyle Copp who slotted home to give the visitors all three points.
And coach Cameron Toshack was delighted with the squad's character as they came from behind to earn the win.
"The character and resilience was great," he said. "We didn't stop playing and even at 2-2 we wanted to go and win the game and we ended up reaping the rewards.
"That is great testament to the players because they have really developed well as a group this season and they deserve a lot of credit.
"I thought we had the better of the first half but credit to Cardiff because they caused us problems in the second period and at 2-1 the game could have gone either way."

SWANS U18s: Lewis Thomas, Aaron Lewis, Jordan Sherman, Keston Davies, Joe Rodon, Jamie Latham (Adnan Maric, 75), Dylan Thomas, Kyle Copp, Liam Cullen, Stephen Fallon, Dan James.
