Swansea City Under-18s were beaten by in-form Watford in their Professional Development League showdown at Landore.

Anthony Wright made seven changes to the side that beat Queens Park Rangers in the FA Youth Cup last week, with Scott Butler, Cian Williams, Erick Kenko and Rio Campbell retaining their places.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Daniel Watts made his under-18s debut from the bench in the second half, as did 15-year-old Sebastian Dabrowski.

The young Swans trailed 2-0 at the break as Shaq Forde forced an own-goal before doubling the visitors’ lead with his ninth strike of the season.

And two second-half headers in the space of eight minutes from Bosun Lawal gave Watford a third league win in four, while condemning the hosts to only a second defeat in six.
