Skipper hails back-to-back home wins

Ashley Williams saluted back-to-back home wins for the first time in seven months, but insists the Swans have plenty to improve on in the final stages of the season.
Federico Fernandez's first goal for the club proved the difference at the weekend as the Swans beat bottom Aston Villa 1-0 at the Liberty.
It backed up a narrow win over Norwich City in their previous clash in SA1, with Francesco Guidolin's side now sitting ten points clear of third-bottom Sunderland with seven games remaining.
It proved the first time since wins over Newcastle and Manchester United that the Swans have enjoyed successive league wins on home soil.
And Williams admits the timing couldn't have been any better.



"You're always expected to win your home games, and we've done that with clean sheets in our last two games," said the Swans skipper.
"We really needed consecutive wins at home considering where we were in the table.
"It has given us a real boost in terms of points and it has given us some distance from the clubs in the bottom three.
"We knew it was a must-win game for us against Villa.
"We didn't play well at all, but we had to grind a result out and that's what we did.
"It sums the season up a bit, but, on the whole, we need to be a lot better. It's not been good enough this season.
"We just want to put as many points on the board as possible and see how high we can finish. That's the challenge ahead of us in the remaining seven games."
