Stats: Swans v Burnley

10th February
First team

It is time for some statistics as we look ahead to Swansea City’s Premier League clash with Burnley at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five games following last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Leicester.

Swans

8 – Swansea have won eight points from losing positions in the Premier League this season. Seven of those have come in their six games under Carlos Carvalhal, thanks to comeback wins against Watford and Arsenal and last week’s draw at Leicester.

3 – Swansea have won their last three home games against Burnley, including their two meetings at Premier League level.

5 – The Swans could go five games unbeaten in the league if they avoid defeat this weekend.

24 – Swansea are on exactly the same number of points (24) now as they were at this stage last season. The Swans had secured seven wins, three draws and 16 defeats in 2016-17, compared to six wins, six draws and 14 defeats this term.

50 – Alfie Mawson has started the Swans’ last 50 Premier League games, which is the longest current run of any player in the competition.

Burnley

9 – Burnley are yet to taste victory in 2018 and are without a Premier League win in nine games (D5 L4), the longest current winless run in the division.

10 – The Clarets have 10 clean sheets in the Premier League this season, a tally which is only bettered by Manchester United (15), Chelsea (13), Manchester City (12) and Tottenham (11). Swansea’s Lukasz Fabianski has seven shutouts this term.

14 – Icelandic winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson has been directly involved in half of Burnley’s last 14 Premier League goals (two goals, five assists).

1995 – Burnley’s last away win against Swansea came in December 1995, when they triumphed 4-2 at Vetch Field.
