Swans Foundation Soccer Camps

Swansea City AFC Foundation completed their annual Summer Soccer Camps during the six weeks of the school holidays, delivering 42 sessions to 1,365 participants across 17 different venues.

Participants received sessions led by FAW qualified coaches, giving them the opportunity to develop their football skills in a fun and safe environment.

In addition to their regular Soccer Camps, the foundation delivered a number of different camps, including Welsh language camps, 'Everyone Deserves a Summer' camps and Premier League Kicks Showcase camps.

Welsh language camps encouraged participants to speak Welsh throughout the sessions, with coaches communicating through the medium of Welsh. Academy players Josh Thomas and Corey Hurford attended the sessions, taking the opportunity to answer questions in Welsh as well as handing out prizes and certificates.

The 'Everyone Deserves a Summer' camps were supported by local MP Carolyn Harris, providing food for our participants on the day, with club ambassador Lee Trundle joining in on the field and in helping hand out meals off it.

Our Premier League Kicks Showcase camps were supported by Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner, hosting five camps across a week in Carmarthen, Llanelli, Pembroke, Newtown and Aberystwyth.

Swansea City AFC Foundation would like to thank everyone who attended for making the camps such a success, and we look forward to seeing you again at our next sessions in October.
