Swansea City part company with Michu

Swansea City have parted company with Spanish forward Michu by mutual consent.
Both parties have reached a financial agreement over the remainder of the 29-year-old's contract, which ran until the end of this season.
The agreement will allow Michu to become a free agent and assist him to find a new club straight away in order to kick-start his playing career again in January.
Michu, who scored 28 goals in 67 appearances for the Swans, became an instant hit following his move from Rayo Vallecano in July 2012.
His £2million fee proved a huge bargain as he marked his debut with two goals in a stunning 5-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers as fans got to see his memorable scoring celebration for the first time on the opening day of the Barclays Premier League season.



He followed that up with strikes against West Ham and Sunderland, seeing him score four goals in his first three games for the club.
Michu continued to hit the net and the headlines, while he also penned a new deal in January 2013.
He finished a hugely successful first season at the Liberty with 22 goals in 43 games, which included scoring the second goal in the Capital One Cup final win over Bradford City at Wembley.
His second year in South West Wales also included a Europa League campaign, while his form caught the eye of Spanish coach Vincente Del Bosque, with Michu earning his first and only cap in a World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
But an ankle injury saw him feature just 24 times - scoring six goals - for the Swans, with his final appearance coming in a 1-0 defeat at Hull City in April 2014.
The following campaign saw Michu spend a season-long loan with Italian side Napoli, but injuries restricted him to just five appearances for the Serie A club.
