Swansea City Under-18s Chelsea Premier League South

9th October

Swansea City Under-18s look to build on the defensive display which helped them grind out a 0-0 draw against Arsenal when they face leaders Chelsea at Cobham on Saturday (1pm).
The scholars earned their first clean sheet of the season by keeping out a dominant Gunners attack at Landore last weekend.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are top of the U18s Barclays Premier League after winning 4-3 at Tottenham.
Despite a pre-season 1-1 draw against the Blues, U18s captain Lewis Thomas believes the team face their toughest test of the season against a strong Chelsea side.
"Chelsea are one of the best academy sides in the country," he said. "They have won the FA Youth Cup four times in the last six years and have some of the best young players in the league.
"We will go there with an open mind but it is going to be a tough test against a very good side.
"We will be looking to keep another clean sheet and continue the performance we put in against Arsenal in order to get a result.
"What matters is the performance. We need to focus on our development and give 100 per cent in every game."

He added: "The mood in our camp is very high after last weekend's result. We showed a lot of defensive resilience in the game against Arsenal.
"I thought the team performance was outstanding as we had to dig-in for the full 90 minutes with a young squad that included two U16 players in defence.
"It was a tough game and I was kept very busy in goal, which is what we expect at this level, but we earned a deserved point."

Swans U18 squad: Lewis Thomas, Alex Lang, Ben Jones, Ben Morgan, Aaron Lewis, Conor Quigley, Matt Blake, Causso Darame, Mael Davies, Jack Watts, Thomas Dyson, Jordan Jones, Marco Dulca, Liam Edwards, Jack Evans, Keiran Evans, Brandon Griffiths, Sean Hanbury.
