Steven Benda is handed a start in goal as Swansea City head coach Steve Cooper names a strong line-up for this evening’s pre-season friendly at Plymouth Argyle.

Benda features between the sticks with Kyle Naughton, Jake Bidwell, Ryan Bennett and Joel Latibeaudiere making up the back four.

Matt Grimes skippers the side and lines up alongside Jay Fulton in midfield, with Yan Dhanda operating in an advanced role ahead of them.

Jamal Lowe and Morgan Whittaker will occupy the wide channels, with Liam Cullen leading the line for the Swans.

Cooper has named an expanded bench – including new signings Liam Walsh, Joel Piroe and Kyle Joseph – at Home Park, with changes likely at this stage of pre-season, and with the fixture being played amidst a heatwave.
