U18s want to continue positive start, says Price

Tom Price wants Swansea City Under-18s to continue their unbeaten run in Premier League South when they take on Aston Villa at Landore on Saturday (11am).

A late equaliser saw the young Swans earn a 1-1 draw against Fulham last weekend.

Price gave the U18s the lead in the opening minute only for the Cottagers to level late on, but the midfielder was pleased to get his first goal of the campaign.

“It was great to get my first goal of the season, but we felt unlucky not to get all three points,” said Price.

“We had chances to put the game to bed and we didn’t take them - that came back to hurt us.

“We need to learn from our mistakes heading into tomorrow’s game against Aston Villa.

“The whole team are really pleased with the start we’ve made and we want to maintain our unbeaten run.

“To have four points after two games is pleasing and it means we can go into this weekend’s game with confidence.”
