Under-18s end season with defeat

15th April

The Under-18s ended their league campaign with a defeat as they went down 2-0 against table-topping Charlton.
The home side were looking to keep pace at the top of Development League Two South, while the Swans wanted to halt a run of four straight defeats.
However, they found themselves a goal down at the break after Joshua Umerah put Charlton ahead.
And Umerah helped himself to a second after the interval as the Addicks sealed all three points.
"Despite the result, the boys played well," said coach Gary Richards. "It was a physical game and we created plenty of chances, particularly in the first half.
"We hit the crossbar and then gave away a goal before never really getting any control in the game.
"But they are a good side and look on course to finish in the play-offs this season."
He added: "Results-wise, we didn't start the season well but we had a fantastic run in the middle part of the season.
"We've lost a little bit of momentum towards the end of the campaign but we'll dust ourselves down and make sure we're right and ready to go for the FAW Youth Cup final against Cardiff on April 30."
