Under-18s make it seven wins in a row

6th December

The Under-18s made it seven wins on the spin after a 4-1 victory over Brentford at Fairwood.
The home side raced into a three-goal lead at the interval at Fairwood thanks to goals from Owain Jones (pen), Kyle Copp and Dan James.
Jones had a penalty saved moments before half-time, while Dan James helped himself to his second after the break while Brentford managed a consolation for their efforts.
The visitors came into the fixture top of the table but were blown away by the in-from Swans, who stretch their unbeaten run to 11 games in all competitions.
And coach Gary Richards was delighted with the squad's efforts and application.
"To win so convincingly against a side that is top of the league is very pleasing," he said.
"Brentford are top for a reason and they have been the most consistent side in the division so far this term.
"But we have built up some great momentum in the last couple of months and the players are now realising what can happen when you put in the effort and application.
"It was a really good performance and we created a lot of chances - their goalkeeper was man of the match and if it wasn't for him then it could have been ever better.
"It was also pleasing to see Dan James help himself to another couple of goals - he's been in fine form since he arrived from Hull and is contributing massively to the squad."
