Under-23s sign Bainbridge

The 19-year-old centre-back spent five years with Everton’s academy before his release in the summer.

Bainbridge has signed a one-year deal with the Swans, who picked up a hard-earned point against Manchester United in Premier League 2 Division 1 on Monday night.

“I am looking forward to get started and playing my first match with the Swans,” Bainbridge said. “It is an exciting opportunity at a great club.

“The team showed we can compete in this league during the game at Manchester United earlier in the week and I am looking forward to bringing the experience I have from playing in division 1 last season into the side.”
