Matt Grimes insists Swansea City go to Derby County this weekend full of confidence despite suffering back-to-back home defeats.

Graham Potter’s men were beaten 4-1 on their own patch by Norwich City last Saturday and then suffered a 2-1 loss against West Bromwich Albion in midweek.

They now go in search of a response in what promises to be another stern Championship examination at Pride Park.

And Grimes has urged the Swans to keep their heads up and build on the positive aspects of their performance against West Brom as they look to dig out a big result.

“We’ll be looking to build on Wednesday’s performance and we’re confident we can go and get a result at Derby,” he said.

“We’ve got to keep believing, work hard, try to be consistent and the results will come.

“Derby are a good side with some very good players, but I don’t think we’ve got anything to fear if we get our performance right.

“We need to have a clear game plan, execute it well and make sure we don’t get undone by set-pieces.

“If we do that, we’ve got a chance against anyone.”
