What will the Former Players' Association bring to Swansea City Football Club?

Something for everyone. For the ex-players who were once associated with our club, the opportunity to reconnect, socialise and find support, if they want it. For the fans, a chance to attend social events, spot their heroes in the stadium, join with them in fundraising activities.

Since Swansea Town came into existence in 1912, tens of thousands of supporters and hundreds of players have been associated with the club. Those players hold different memories for fans but every one of them have a part to play in the story of a club which has experienced the highs and lows of promotion and relegation, seen feast and famine on and of the field of play.

The FPA is offering everyone a chance to remember and reunite, as well as providing practical and emotional support for those who served the club on the pitch.

What is different about Swansea City's FPA?

We are asking all former players, male and female, to come and join us and be part of the Former Players' Association. We believe it will have a positive impact on individuals and on our city.

How can former players get involved?

Ex Swans who want to be involved with Swansea City Former Players’ Association are asked to fill in the registration form HERE.

The club is also keen to hear from relatives and friends of former players who are not online but who might still like to join the FPA.

Anyone in this category is asked to call the FPA secretary, Catherine Thomas, on 01792 616420 or email catherinethomas@swanseacity.com

How can the fans get involved?

We know how important our players are to our fans and we will be inviting fans to share their memories of the former players who had a positive impact on them, who helped them through a tough time, who offered them 90 minutes of escapism or who lit up their day with a dazzling display on the pitch.

We'll also be speaking to some of the ex-players who sign up to the FPA and we'll be offering fans a chance to put their questions to them, as well as joining us for social and fundraising events.

Look out for regular updates and activities on the FPA section of the website and across our social media channels and join with us in celebrating all those who played a part in the Swansea City story.
