Young Swans beaten by QPR

QPR U18s 3-2 Swans U18s
The Under-18s suffered back-to-back league defeats for the first time since September following a 3-2 defeat against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The visitors found themselves 2-0 down within the first quarter of the game as goals from Olamide Shodipo and Josh Bowler put the hosts in control.
However, the deficit was halved on 36 minutes as Tom Dyson beat two players on the touchline before finishing well past Conor Hudnott.
Rangers went into the half-time break with their two-goal lead intact, however, as Bowler helped himself to a second just four minutes later.
The visitors made the perfect start to the second period as Keiran Evans found the net, but it was the home side who held firm for all three points.
"We gave away a couple of poor goals," said coach Gary Richards. "But as long as we learn from that, that is most important as part of the players' development.
"But there was no lack of effort from the players on what was not an easy pitch to play on.
"From an attacking point of view we scored two good goals, the second of which was a slick counter attacking move.
"We had five players away with the Under-21s and a couple more missing through injury and internationals, so there was an opportunity for some players to step up.
"All of this is good for us moving forward and ahead to next season."
