Cullen: We can deliver more

Liam Cullen believes there is more to come from Swansea City’s Under-23s this season despite their impressive run of form in Premier League 2.

Victory over Chelsea last weekend saw the young Swans earn their fourth consecutive league win.

And Cullen, who scored the Swans’ second goal in the 2-0 Chelsea win, insists the development side must build on their unbeaten run.

“We are doing well, but there is more to come from us in 2018,” he said.

“As a team I don’t think we have hit our best yet. If we keep achieving we will continue to pick up vital points.

“It was really important for us to maintain that unbeaten run in the league.

“It was a big shift from the boys against Chelsea and I think we deserved what we got for our hard work.

“This season was always going to be a big challenge. We had a tough start to life in division one, but knew we had to adapt and that we could get results against the top teams.

“We must continue with that belief and keep building going forward.”
