Leon: Let's prove ourselves again

Leon Britton insists the Swans will have to prove themselves all over again as the Barclays Premier League season approaches the latter stages.
In a campaign which the Swans have once again left the critics scratching their heads, Michael Laudrup has guided the club to within touching distance of a top-half finish.
The Great Dane has also delivered a first major title to the club's trophy cabinet, with the Swans lifting the Capital One Cup and booking a spot in the Europa League.
The club has already hit the 40-point mark in the top flight, but the recent defeats to West Brom and Arsenal means the Swans are hoping to end the run when they hosts Spurs after the international break.
"We've had a great season so far, probably better than anyone could have expected," said Britton.
"To win the club's first major trophy in 100 years is a massive achievement and we are going very well in the league.
"We have got 40 points on the board already, but after the recent defeats people from outside the club have said that we have eased up.
"I can tell you that's not the case. We have a lot of pride in playing for this club, and our performances and results are not something we will ease up on.
"We have not been in this situation at this stage of the season, but there's a lot to fight for.
"And I think, in that respect, we will have to prove people wrong who have said we will just fall away in the league and leave our season peter out.
"But I can assure you, no-one here thinks or acts as if they are already on the beach with their flip-flops on."
With seven Swans currently on international duty, training sessions have been a little quieter than usual this week at the Liberty.
The club's international commitments now include Ashley Williams, Ben Davies, Jazz Richards (Wales), Michel Vorm, Jonathan de Guzman (Holland), Itay Shechter (Israel) and Ki Sung-Yueng (South Korea).
And Britton insists it is just another reminder of the club's growth in stature.
"When I joined here, I can't really remember anyone being called up for national teams," said the midfielder.
"I can remember Sam Ricketts and Owain Tudur-Jones being involved with Wales, but that was about it.
"But now we have players involved with South Korea, Holland and Israel as well as Wales.
"When we look at how far the club has come, international selection is another part of that."
