Leroy looking for another "rocking" atmosphere

Leroy Fer hopes the Liberty will be "rocking" once again tonight when the Swans take on Arsenal (7.45pm).

The Swans saw off Liverpool 1-0 in SA1 last week as Carlos Carvalhal's side inflicted a first defeat on the Reds in 18 games.

The victory could prove vital to the Swans' hopes of rising out of the relegation zone, with three points currently separating them from safety.

Now Fer wants the Swans - and Jack Army - to set the tone with a repeat performance tonight when Arsene Wenger's Gunners arrive at the Liberty.

"Beating Liverpool was an amazing result and we could feel everybody who is a Swansea fan was right behind us during that game - they carried us through the latter stages of the game when we were under huge pressure," said the Dutch international.

"The atmosphere was really good - the stadium was rocking. When the atmosphere is like that, it makes it a very difficult place for the opposition to come and play.

"We need that performance and focus again from the players and for the fans to generate that atmosphere again.

"That combination will go a long way to helping us get the result we want."

General sale tickets have now sold out for tonight's game with Arsenal at the Liberty. Tickets are, however, available via our hospitality packages. Click HERE for details.
