Jordan Ayew was involved in a seven-goal thriller in the Premier League as Crystal Palace went down 4-3 to Liverpool at Anfield.

The Ghanaian led the line for Roy Hodgson's side, who had led 1-0 going into the second half, before he was substituted in the 81st minute.

It was the striker's 18th appearance for Palace, with Ayew having scored twice in his last four outings.

Meanwhile, Jordan's elder brother Andre is in action tonight as Fenerbahce visit Bursapor in the Turkish league.

In La Liga, Borja started for Alaves as they missed the opportunity to move into the top four as they were beaten 4-0 at Getafe, who sit a point below them.

Borja, who has scored twice in his last three games, played the full 90 minutes.

Aaron Lewis is still waiting for his first taste of senior football as he was an unused sub as Doncaster were held 2-2 by Burton Albion at the Keepmoat Stadium.
