Wilfried Bony continued his good start at Al-Arabi as he scored again in their 2-1 win at Al-Shahaniya.

The Ivorian fired in the opener from close range after seven minutes as he took his tally to two from as many games in the Qatar Stars League.

Bony featured for 84 minutes as victory moved Al-Arabi to within seven points of the AFC Champions League qualification spots.

Al-Arabi travel to third-placed Al Sailiya on Friday with Bony looking to add to his tally.

In the Premier League, Jordan Ayew was a late substitute in Crystal Palace's stunning 4-1 win at Leicester City.

Ayew came on for the final four minutes as he made his 23rd appearances for the Eagles.
