Eder made his return to action as Lille went down 3-0 at Montpellier.
The Portuguese international had been sidelined with a knee injury, but made his third appearance for Lille - who sit 15th in Ligue 1 - by featuring for the full 90 minutes.
Remaining in France, Franck Tabanou played the whole game as St Etienne missed the chance to go third following a 2-1 home defeat to Caen.
The left-back made his eighth appearance for St Etienne, who slip to seventh - just one point off third-placed Lyon.



In the Championship, Matt Grimes was involved in a dramatic finish as Blackburn beat MK Dons 3-2.
The midfielder, who made his debut in the midweek defeat at Derby, came on after 51 minutes with Blackburn trailing 1-0.
It culminated in a sensational finish, with former Swans loanee Jordi Gomez firing home a last-gasp free-kick to earn the home side three points.
In League Two, Mansfield slipped out of the play-off spots as Daniel Alfei played the full 90 in their 1-0 loss at Newport County.
There was better news for Connor Roberts, however, as Yeovil moved three points clear of the dropzone thanks to a 1-0 win at fellow relegation rivals Dagenham & Redbridge.
One place above the Glovers are Stevenage, who handed Ryan Hedges his fifth appearance in a 2-0 home defeat to Exeter.
Meanwhile, Nathan Dyer and Gerhard Tremmel were unused substitutes for Leicester City and Werder Bremen, while Alex Samuel missed out on Morton's matchday squad.
