Jordi Amat's Real Betis shared the spoils with Jefferson Montero's Getafe last weekend in La Liga.

Amat made his sixth appearance of the season for Betis, who had to come from 2-0 down to pick up a point, with the centre-back replaced with ten minutes to go as the hosts chased an equaliser.

Montero, meanwhile, wasn't part of Getafe's squad as he is currently sidelined with a calf injury.

Remaining in La Liga, Borja featured for Malaga as they were beaten 2-0 at Villarreal.

The striker came off the bench for the final ten minutes as La Liga's bottom club were condemned to a ninth defeat in 11 games.

Matt Grimes was rested for Northampton's FA Cup draw with Scunthorpe while Keston Davies and Botti Biabi were unused substitutes for Yeovil Town and Hamilton.

Connor Roberts, meanwhile, was not part of the squad as Middlesbrough beat Sunderland 1-0 in the Championship.
