Matt Grimes continued to impress in the colours of Northampton Town over the weekend.
The on-loan Swansea City midfielder played the full 90 minutes in League One as the Cobblers beat Pep Clotet’s Oxford United side 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium.
Grimes is making a positive impression at Northampton under the guidance of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The 22-year-old also featured as a second-half substitute in Northampton’s 3-3 draw with Southampton Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy last week.
Elsewhere, Swans youngster Keston Davies was an unused substitute for Yeovil Town as they went down 3-0 at Carlisle United in League Two.
The other Swans who are currently on loan did not have games over the weekend because of the international break.
