Jefferson Montero scored the first goal of his spell with Ecuadorian side Emelec over the weekend.
The winger returned to his homeland to join Emelec on loan in the January transfer window having endured a difficult time with Spanish side Getafe in the first half of 2017-18.
Montero, who is due back at Swansea City for the start of pre-season, made his 11th appearance – and only his second start – for Emelec as they took on Tecnico Universitario on Saturday.
And the 28-year-old scored his side’s second goal as they registered a 3-0 victory.
Montero played for 72 minutes before being substituted.
