Magic Michu's on hunt for more goals

Michu continues to raise his own personal expectations after he insisted he needs to score more goals despite bagging a brace in the home win over QPR.
The Spaniard opened the scoring against Rangers after just eight minutes after following up Nathan Dyer's parried effort before he added the fourth and final goal thanks to a sublime through ball from Pablo Hernandez to ensure Michael Laudrup's side of victory.
It took Michu's league tally to 15 goals in 25 appearances, with the 26-year-old already matching his 15 strikes in 37 appearances for former club Rayo Vallecano in La Liga last season.
It means the £2million signing has 18 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions, but he fails to rest on his laurels.
"That's good, but I need to score more," said Michu, whose last goal came in the Capital One Cup win at Chelsea.
"I went a lot of games (seven) without a goal, so it was important I could get two goals and the team scored four.
"QPR brings back good memories for me because I scored two goals on my debut against them, and I managed another two this time.
"For the first goal I could see Nathan was going to shoot, so I hoped the goalkeeper would spill it. It was a difficult chance to take, but I managed to get it into the net.
"My second goal came from a brilliant pass from Pablo. I know Pablo, Wayne Routledge and Nathan can make this type of pass so I make the run knowing they will find me."
Michu's opener set the tone for the Swans, who doubled their lead when Angel Rangel latched onto an exquisite pass from Wayne Routledge before tapping home after his initial shot was kept out by Julio Cesar.
Substitute Bobby Zamora pulled one back three minutes after the break but Hernandez's fine run and finish just 120 seconds later restored the Swans' two-goal advantage.
Michu then put the icing on the cake by slotting past Cesar following Hernandez's fine assist.
"We played very well in the first half. We scored two goals and they didn't have a shot," Michu reflected.
"They came back straight away in the second half, but we did well to score straight away through a very good goal from Pablo.
"Then the fourth goal came and that finished the game."
Michu's brace is a quick reminder to Spain boss Vincente del Bosque of his talent after he was left out of the national squad for a recent friendly.
But Michu insists his focus on solely on the Swans, who now face Liverpool next week before the Capital One Cup Final against Bradford City at Wembley.
"Spain are the best team in the world, so it is difficult to get into the squad as they have excellent players," said Michu, who flies out to Dubai for warm weather training with the Swans squad today.
"So I will keep working very hard for Swansea. I am happy with the team and my goals.
"We also have a final soon, so I'm hoping I can win the first title of my career.
"We needed this kind of performance and result. We are now on 37 points, which is near safety, and now we go to Dubai with a smile."
