Michael Duff has urged Swansea City to keep making positive strides when they welcome Norwich City to the Swansea.com Stadium tonight (7.45pm).

The Swans host the Canaries on the back of consecutive 3-0 wins against Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall.

Add in the draw at Queens Park Rangers and the Swans have taken seven points from the last nine available, conceding just once and scoring seven goals during that time.

They host a Canaries team whose weekend win at Birmingham ended a run of four defeats in five games in all competitions.

Norwich have been among the teams fancied to launch a promotion push, and head coach Duff is expecting a tough test.

But he wants his side to continue building on the platform they have laid with their positive performances with and without the ball over the recent pair of wins.

“It’s been great to share these last two wins with the supporters. They pay their hard-earned money to support us and it’s great to be able to thank them for their efforts with three points and a good performance,” said the Swans boss.

"We will be looking to deliver the same against a Norwich side who are one of the favourites for promotion, and who have looked good side from what I’ve seen of them this season. They look to try and play a really expansive game.

“The games come thick and fast in the Championship and they are all hard games, this one will be no different.

"We will look to build on this platform we have given ourselves and hopefully we can take another positive step.

“I think we have shown more of what we want things to look like.

“The shape and organisation have been good, some of the football we’ve played has been good, but we know there is a lot of hard work ahead for us as a group if we are to get things to where we want them to be.

“The reaction we have shown over the last few games has been really good, the players have stuck together, and we have been able to put a platform in place that allows us to go and play good football from.”
