Monk: Success is for you

Captain Garry Monk has hailed the Swans' historic Capital One Cup achievement and dedicated the achievement to everyone involved in the club's success story.
Monk lifted the trophy along with Ashley Williams after the Swans saw off League Two side Bradford City at Wembley.
It caps off a remarkable period for the club, having won promotion to the Premier League two years ago and now getting set to embark on a European adventure next season thanks to their cup exploits.
And Monk, who has been a pivotal part of the club's rise from League Two since he joined in 2004, was keen to share the club's success of winning its first major trophy with everyone connected with the club.
It probably won't sink in for a while, but with it being in the club's centenary year it couldn't have been better timed.
We've done the hard graft, have played in the lower leagues and worked our way up. Now we are looking at playing European football.
"This cup success is for the fans, the club, the chairman, everyone who works behind the scenes.
"The club has had some dark times, but now the people who have followed the club or helped the club in any way can now look at the Capital One Cup in the trophy cabinet with a big smile.
"At a club like this, everyone plays their part - and I mean everyone. It's not just the players.
"So we can all celebrate this success - it's for everyone within the Swansea City family."
Monk also had praise for the way in which the club has gone about achieving its success.
The club have successfully worked their way through the divisions over the last eight years, starting with promotion from the fourth tier in the 2004-05 campaign.
And the 33-year-old feels the Swans' road to glory could be a role model for other clubs with similar resources and ambitions.
"This is a blueprint for other clubs," he added. "The way the board and the chairman run the club - they don't punch above their weight financially, we keep it in-house and build year-on-year.
"That's the way to do it - in football and in any line of business."
