Multimedia Officer - Full Time
Swansea City's rise over the last 10 years from the bottom of League Two to three consecutive mid-table finishes in the Barclays Premier League is a truly remarkable story. And with a Capital One Cup final triumph and a Europa League adventure to throw into the mix, the community club continues to grow on and off the pitch.
As a result we have a vacancy for a talented individual to assist in raising the profile and increasing our media coverage for our loyal supporters. Due to the nature of the industry, the role will require a degree of flexibility and non-standard working hours which include attending games both home and away.

The Role:
This is a fast, exciting and challenging in-house multimedia role which uses Final Cut Pro / Adobe Photoshop / Motion and other software associated with multimedia production such as Adobe Premier and After Effects.
The primary delivery for this content will be the club's official YouTube channel (www.swanstv.com).

The role includes producing audio / visual content from acquired and self-generated footage; whether that's player interviews, community activity, press conferences, behind-the-scenes clips, training or match action.

There is also a requirement for graphic / image creation for web and print-based media with the successful candidate having the desired knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign.

Previous experience in editing football and a good knowledge of the club and / or the sport is desirable, but not essential. The understanding of video and audio encoding technologies and experience of web-based CMS processes is also desirable.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail is essential as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The idea candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
