Swansea City have no new injury concerns for the trip to Bristol City, although they will be without Kasey Palmer due to the terms of the midfielder’s loan spell.

Palmer joined the Swans from the Robins on deadline day, but is not allowed to face his parent club.

Morgan Gibbs-White is a long-term absentee with a fractured foot, while George Byers is continuing to work is way back from the groin problem that has kept him sidelined so far this season.

“There are no changes in terms of injuries, nothing new from the other night,” said Cooper.

“Kasey Palmer is not available against his parent club, but the rest of the boys got through the game fine.”

Ryan Bennett

Cooper handed a Swansea debut to another new arrival in Ryan Bennett at Coventry in midweek, while Ryan Manning was on the bench as the head coach looks to bring his four deadline-day acquisitions up to speed.

“It’s something we have to deal with. Under normal circumstances you’d try to get players in as early as you can for pre-season,” added Cooper.

“The boys who came in late in the international break; it’s going to be very different, because we’re in that schedule of playing every three or four days.

“There are not going to be normal training weeks or sessions going on. We won’t be on our own, it’ll be pretty common this season. We’ll just deal with it as it comes along.”
