Swansea City boss Steve Cooper will have the same squad available for Saturday’s home clash with Birmingham City, after reporting no new injury concerns following victory at Preston.

As was the case ahead of the trip to Deepdale, only midfielder George Byers is ruled out by injury as he continues to recover from a groin problem.

Jordon Garrick and Kristoffer Peterson got valuable minutes under their belt in the under-23s’ victory over Cardiff City, with the pair having missed out on game time during pre-season.

“There is nothing new in terms of injuries from the game,” said head coach Cooper.

“Obviously there are a few tired legs as it was a hard-fought game, but there are no injuries.

“The only injury is George being out. He is making progress but is still a while away from being back out on the grass. Otherwise we are good to go.”

Cooper also confirmed Nathan Dyer is training with Swansea City while the winger continues his search for a new club.
