Graham Potter revealed his delight with the way his backroom staff is shaping up at Swansea City following the arrival of assistant coach Bjorn Hamberg.

Hamberg is the fourth member of staff to head to the Liberty from Swedish club Ostersund, joining Potter, assistant manager Billy Reid and head of recruitment Kyle Macaulay.

The move follows on from Alan Curtis’ appointment as assistant coach, with the club legend strengthening Potter’s backroom team.

And Potter was delighted to welcome his latest recruit to the Liberty as he begins preparations for next season’s Championship campaign.

“I know Bjorn very well as we’ve worked successfully together for the last six or seven years at Ostersund,” said Potter.

“We worked together on match plans, opposition analysis and training ideas while he supports the feedback to the players. He provides more of a link between analysis and training.

“He will work with the existing analysis department to steer it towards helping the team become successful.

"I'm pleased with the way we are looking from a staff point of view. There is a lot of hard work ahead but we're all looking forward to getting started."
