Swansea City Ladies are back in action this Sunday (2pm) as they travel to mid Wales to face Welsh Premier Women’s League strugglers Aberystwyth Town.

In the reverse fixture at Llandarcy, the Swans beat the Seasiders 3-0 in September.

Sunday’s opposition are still in the hunt for their first victory of the season and currently sit at the foot of the Welsh Premier Women’s League table.

But manager Ian Owen insists the league leaders, who haven't been in action since victory over Briton Ferry on January 12, won't be complacent as they look to protect their perfect record this season.

“Aberystwyth have a good squad and although their results don’t show that, they will be a tough opponent especially at their home ground,” he said.

“We will need to be at our very best to get the result we want.”
