Swansea City Under-21s return to Professional Development League action on Monday (2pm) as they travel to Suffolk to take on Ipswich Town Under-21s.

The Swans side will look to secure their first away win of the season after picking up a point against Peterborough United in a remarkable draw which included three second-half penalties.

Josh Thomas netted his fourth goal in five games, while Tarrelle Whittaker got his second in as many outings for the development side.

Ipswich Town have registered just one loss in their last four league fixtures, their sole defeat coming in a 4-3 reverse against Burnley.

Swansea City U21s coach Anthony Wright: "In the week leading up to Ipswich, we will keeping doing what we do, which is just concentrating on us.

"We'll get back to training hard in the run-up to Monday, we'll work on everything we want to build on. We'll have a look at the Peterborough game, the positives and the elements in which we could improve on.

"We'll do some unit stuff with the squad, then we'll work with them as individuals, that's how we work every week. The focus will always be on us and what we do, it's clear when we play that we have an identity of what we do."

Swansea Under-23s were handed their first home defeat of the season as they were beaten 3-0 by Ipswich Town in their Professional Development League encounter.

After starting the season with a win and a draw on home turf, the Swans were on the losing end of the scoreline thanks to goals from Fraser Alexander, Tete Yengi and Harley Curtis.

A youthful Swans side, including 16-year-olds Ben Lloyd and Joel Cotterill, plus a number of other teenagers, battled hard but were unable to haul themselves back into the game.
