Swansea City Ladies are in FAW Women’s Cup quarter-final action this Sunday as they welcome North Wales Women’s Football League side Bethel Ladies to Llandarcy (2pm).

The Swans progressed through to the last eight of the competition after they comfortably saw off Dafen (13-0) and Aberdare Town (18-0).

Like the Swans, Sunday’s opposition are in good form themselves having gone unbeaten all season.

However, manager Ian Owen is solely focused on the performance of his side.

“We have said all year that we are just focusing on ourselves," said Owen. "If we do what we can do and we do it well then we have a good chance of progressing.”

“We don’t know too much about them (Bethel) but I do know that they have had a few good wins. They are a bit of an unknown quantity.

“We always want to win and we will be taking Sunday really seriously even though they are in a lower league but that counts for nothing.

“Cup matches have a habit of throwing out surprises so we will want to be at our best and we’ll hopefully go through to the next round.”
