Rangel's ultimate pride

Angel Rangel admitted he couldn't have felt any prouder after captaining the Swans to a sensational 3-0 victory at Valencia in the Europa League.
The Swans got their Group Stage campaign off to a dream start at the Mestalla as they punished a Valencia side that played for 80 minutes with ten men following Adil Rami's tenth-minute dismissal.
Goals from Wilfried Bony, Michu and Jonathan de Guzman claimed an historic victory for the Swans - this being the second away win in European football for the club.
And for Rangel, who captained the side as Ashley Williams and Leon Britton were unavailable, it was a very proud moment leading his team to victory.



"It's unbelievable. I don't think anyone expected what happened out on the pitch - it was an incredible day," said the Spaniard.
"It's a very proud moment for me. It's the first time in my career that I've been  captain.
"Going to Spain and winning 3-0 at a massive club like Valencia  is unbelievable.
"The whole team put in a great performance and in the end it was a well-deserved win.
"I don't think I've realised yet what we achieved. Personally, I couldn't be any prouder as i get any higher up the Spanish system than the third tier, so to come back as a Premier League footballer and winning the way we did is very satisfying."
He added: "I had 50 family members at the game. I only live an hour or so from Valencia, so everyone wanted to come over and enjoy the occasion.
"To captain the team, play the way we did and win convincingly at Valencia in front of my family is a special moment for me. It couldn't have gone any better."
