Swansea City Ladies maintained their perfect start to the Welsh Premier Women’s League after they defeated Llandudno Town 3-0 in North Wales.

A brace from Stacey John-Davis and a Katy Hosford free-kick secured victory for the visitors which meant they recorded their third consecutive win.

In the opening stages of the match Swansea were dominating the ball and controlling the game, however, Llandudno’s defence stood firm and limited the chances for Ian Owen’s side.

The Swans did break the deadlock on the half hour mark as Ian Owen’s side put Stacey John-Davis in a one-on-one situation with Llandudno keeper Becky Elliot and she calmly slotted it home off the far post.

The visitors added to their lead with the last kick of the half as from Katy Hosford’s free-kick looped over the keeper.

The second half began in similar fashion as the first with Swansea being on top in all aspects of the game.

And it soon paid off with John-Davis flicking her header over Elliot to bag her brace after she reacted to a loose bouncing ball in the penalty area.
