REPORT: Swans U18s 1 Norwich U18s 1

26th November

A stoppage-time penalty denied Swansea City Under-18s their second Premier League South win of the season at Landore.
The young Swans had to battle in the first half to stop the Canaries from taking an early lead as Alan Fleming fired over from close range.
Swans keeper Ross Treacy saved Sambu Emerson's low free-kick after a quarter-of-an-hour before a counter attack saw Devonte Aransibia fire narrowly wide of the post.
Swansea began to create chances as Liam Cullen created a fast-paced counter-attack for Mason Jones-Thomas before the winger's shot was saved by the gloves of Fergal Hale-Brown in the Canaries net.
Swansea were denied again ten minutes before the break as Cullen arrowed a rifled shot at goal that was palmed clear by the young Norwich keeper.

The Swans almost took the lead minutes after the restart, nut Matt Blake's superb curling free-kick was denied by the Norwich keeper.
Treacy had to be alert as Norwich hit on the counter-attack with a cross finding substitute Bernard Ashley-Seal in the area, before the Irishman blocked the effort.
Minutes later Oliver Cooper's through ball set Cullen through on goal with a fast break from midfield, but the striker's effort cannoned off the woodwork.
But the miss did not matter as the young Swans took the lead just before the hour mark as a Darame through ball set Cullen free on goal to confidently slot home his 12th goal of the season.
Swansea continued to press for a second as Jordan Jones' shot forced a superb save from Hale-Brown once again while Brandon Cooper headed inches wide from a corner.
The young Swans were made to dig deep to deny waves of pressure from the Canaries attack in the final ten minutes and looked to be heading for victory before a late penalty converted by Ashley-Seal meant both sides had to settle for a draw.
