Roland's ready to roll at Swans

Roland Lamah is ready to make the most of his big opportunity at Swansea City after clinching an 18-month loan deal at the Liberty Stadium, subject to Premier League clearance.
The 25-year-old Belgian international will be part of Michael Laudrup's squad until June 2014 after completing his temporary switch from La Liga club Osasuna today and becoming the club's first signing of the January transfer window.
Lamah, who is left-footed but can play on either wing, has already experienced top-flight football in Belgium, Holland, France and Spain before his move to South West Wales - a move that can be turned permanent at any stage of the loan.
Having played against the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Radamel Falcao in La Liga this season, Lamah is looking forward to mixing it with the best the Barclays Premier League has to offer.
And he can count on a number of familiar faces to help him settle into his new surroundings.
"I know Kemy (Agustien), Jonathan (de Guzman), Chico (Flores) and Michel as I have played against them in Holland and Spain," said Lamah.
"I have not spoken to them in length yet, but I'm looking forward to being their team-mate and taking part in training.
"The team want to keep the ball and pass it, which is the strength of the players here.
"I think that style is best for me, so I'm delighted to join Swansea on loan.
"I really like the Premier League. I think you get more space to play, and that's good for attacking players like myself.
"I've been very impressed with how well Swansea have done, so I can't wait to get going and show what I can offer the manager and team."
Born in the Ivory Coast, Lamah's family moved to Belgium when he was 15.
A year later he found himself playing senior football with Vise in the lower leagues of Belgian football.
After an impressive start to life as a professional football, Anderlecht snapped up the emerging talent.
His football education then took him to Holland, where he would spend a very successful loan spell at Roda JC as his form helped the club finish ninth in the Eredivisie.
It was enough to convince Le Mans to secure his services, with Lamah testing himself in the French system for the following two years before La Liga came calling.
After completing a £1.25million transfer to Osasuna, the winger was mixing it with the cream of the Primera Liga.
This season, he scored twice in 15 top-flight appearances for Los Rojillos as the club battle against relegation.
Now the five-cap international's challenge is to firstly break into Laudrup's plans before playing his part in helping the Swans maintain their lofty position.
Lamah is unavailable for the FA Cup third-round replay with Arsenal on Wednesday, but will be eligible for Saturday's home league clash with Stoke City.
And he can't wait to get his Swans career underway.
"I know Swansea is a close club - a family club, and I like that," added Lamah, who has been allocated squad number 14.
"I can see in the Premier League the supporters are very passionate, they make a lot noise and get behind their team. I am looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere.
"The team are doing very well in the league and the cups also, so it's a great time to arrive at Swansea.
"And, of course, Michael Laudrup is in charge so I'm looking forward to playing and learning under him."
