Steve Cooper named Sky Bet EFL Championship Manager of the Month

Swansea City boss Steve Cooper has been named the Sky Bet EFL Championship Manager of the Month for January.
The head coach led the Swans to an impressive start to 2021 as they took 10 points from a possible 12 with three wins and a draw from their four league fixtures.
The Swans beat Watford at the Liberty, and also claimed victories on their travels at Barnsley and Rotherham to keep themselves firmly in the battle for the automatic promotion places.
The Welshman was chosen ahead of Norwich boss Daniel Farke, Reading’s Veljko Paunovic and Blackburn’s Tony Mowbray.
It is the second time the Swans boss has won the award, having also been recognised in August 2019 after an unbeaten start to his tenure.
