Steve Cooper has vowed Swansea City will not give up on their play-off dream with just six games remaining in a congested fight for the top six.

The Swans remain four points off the play-off places following their draw at Millwall on Tuesday night, and next face Sheffield Wednesday at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

Cooper was left with mixed emotions after the draw in south east London; pleased his side had battled back from a goal down but also feeling they could have offered more with the ball.

But they are still in the hunt, and the head coach has made clear they are still fighting with everything they have got.

“We will never give up,” he said.

“We let ourselves down against Luton, we know that, but we will fight to the end.

“We have an inexperienced team, and we have some injuries, but we are absolutely going for it.

“The lads are committed and there will be many twists and turns before this is over.

“We will keep going, we really want to do well. We have to keep believing and keep going.

“We have to be better in terms of game management, and we can be better in how we use the ball late in games, and we will always strive to get better.

“But we are not giving up.”
