Swans' 2013-14 fixtures
Swansea City will kick off their Barclays Premier League season at home against champions Manchester United.
The release of the season's fixtures this morning sees Michael Laudrup's side host the Red Devils in what will be David Moyes' first league game in charge since taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson.
It means the Swans have been dealt an opening-day home fixture for the first time in six years - the last being against Cheltenham during the 2007-08 campaign in League One.
The much-anticipated first Welsh derby in Premier League history will be held at The Cardiff City Stadium as the Swans make the short trip down the M4 on Saturday, November 2.
The return match at the Liberty Stadium takes place on Saturday, February 8.
The Capital One Cup holders take in their first away clash of the 2013-14 campaign when they visit Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, August 24.
The remaining fixture in the month is another away trip, with West Brom awaiting the Swans at The Hawthorns.
The festive period sees the Swans take in six matches during December, starting with home games against Newcastle United on Tuesday, December 3 and newly-promoted Hull City the following Saturday.
A trip to Norwich is up next before Roberto Martinez's Everton visit SA1 in the final fixture before Christmas.
The Swans make the journey to Europa League winners Chelsea on Boxing Day, while they are on the road again two days later for the trip to Aston Villa in the final game of 2013.
But 2014 kicks off on home soil, with Manchester City - led by new manager Manuel Pellegrini - visiting the Liberty on New Year's Day.
The two longest trips of the season are saved until the last two away games, with a trip to Newcastle United on April 19 - wedged between home games with Aston Villa and Southampton - and the final match of the campaign at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Sunday, May 11.

Due to the club's involvement in the Europa League, some fixtures could be moved to the Sunday. The away match at Tottenham Hotspur is expected to be put back as it comes just days after their Europa League Play-Off opener, while the trip to West Brom could also move if we qualify for the Play-Off stage.
